This is the most important rule of all. Never EVER forget this one!
🔷 Rules of conduct

Compensation
We all know that driving in DayZ is very bugged. Driving is at one’s own discretion. If you flip or crash due to lag or bugged driving mechanics some compensation can be made. An admin will help you with this IF we have the time for it. What the compensation will be is up to the admin to decide. Compensating players for crashed cars is not a priority so don´t spam messages about it. Driving in DayZ is at your own risk. Be aware of what loot you put into your vehicle. You can always try to use the “Push” option on a vehicle (Tip: Have the car in neutral when pushing) or using a wrench to flip it.

🔷 Soft raiding
A soft raid is defined as gaining entry to bases without using explosives or other tools. Examples include boosting or exploiting poorly constructed bases to gain access. However, you may not use bullets, explosives, or other tools to gain entry to bases or storage for it to be considered a soft raid.
Softraiding is allowed 24/7 and does not have to be conducted during the specific raid times. Specific rules regarding boosting are outlined below.
⯈ Boosting
You may only boost over player-built structures using the following:
Another Player: You may use a maximum of one backpack as an aid to climb onto another player’s head. However, you may NOT jump onto another player’s head if they are already standing on another object. The exception is vanilla structures.
All Types of Vehicles: Vehicles can be used for boosting.
Placeable Objects: You may use placeable objects, except for garden plots, fireplaces, barrels, and all forms of MMG objects.
However, you are not allowed to combine any of these methods. For example:
You may not park a vehicle outside a wall and then jump onto another player’s head if that player is already standing on the vehicle.
Similarly, you may not use the vehicle to access ledges or areas that would otherwise be inaccessible and then jump onto another player’s head.
You are only permitted to use ONE of the methods listed above to gain direct access to the base. This means you may not use one method to reach another area and then use another method to gain access.
⯈ Poorly built bases
If someone has built a base so poorly that it allows you to gain access, it is permitted to raid that base. However, no tools, explosives, or weapons may be used at any point during a soft raid.
🔷 Hard raiding
Here we explain the rules that apply to hard raiding.
⯈ Raid times
⯈ Raidable structures
⯈ Glitching and/or boosting
⯈ Tools that can be used
For raids, only so-called breaching charges can be used.
For Tier 1 (wooden) – a Homemade Breaching Charge is used.
For Tier 2 (metal) – a Heavy Breaching Charge is required.
It is therefore not possible to use any other form of explosive to raid a gate. It is also important to remember that a Homemade Breaching Charge cannot be used on a metal gate—it will not cause any damage at all.
For locked cabinets, crates, and tents you can use either a regular hacksaw or a raid driver.

Donation
Thank you for considering a donation to our community!
We, who run TDS, do so on a voluntary basis, with all costs coming directly out of our own pockets. We do this purely as a hobby, hoping that all of you who play here find it entertaining and fun. We never expect any monetary gain for ourselves—our goal is always to ensure the survival and development of this community for the better. We always aim to grow, become bigger, and improve.
However, this entails quite a few costs, which, to be honest, are not sustainable in the long run if we, as the ones managing this community, shoulder them all on our own.
So, if you’re able and appreciate what we do, we’re always grateful if you can or want to donate any amount to help us keep this community running and alive.
As a thank you, you’ll receive a special role on our Discord, where everyone can see what a hero you truly are.
Here, in full disclosure, we list the monthly costs incurred by this community.
This is accurate as of December 2024
We aim to always save around €30–50 each month to cover unforeseen expenses, upgrades, and community development. Our immediate goal is to open a server targeted more towards players in North America. The timeline is not yet set, but we want to be prepared when that day comes.
Currently, we do not allocate any funds to owners, admins, or moderators. All donations go directly towards the operation of TDS and the development of the community.
As of right now, we only allow donations via Paypal.
Click the button below and a new window will open and take you to the Paypal donation form.
In the message section – provide your Discord name so we can assign your “Donator” role.
All donations are non-refundable
